2006-2011: Assistant lecturer of Chemistry at Dublin Institute of Technology.

2008-2011: Arnold F. Graves Research Fellow at the Focas Research Institute.

2011-onward: Lecturer of Inorganic Medicinal Chemistry at Dublin City University.

Principal Research Interests:

The study of metallodrug-nucleic acid interactions.

The development of copper oxidative chemical nucleases and the identification of oxidative DNA base lesions.

Development of ROS-active metallodrugs as novel chemotherapeutic anticancer drug leads.

Design of novel metallo-antimicrobial agents.
