Dr. Karina Horgan started her studies at National University Galway, where she took part in Alltech PhD programme. As part of her PhD thesis she worked on the synthesis characterisation and bioavailability of Organic Chromium complexes. She now works at the Alltech European Biosciences research department. Her research interests have included; development of assays for Alltech products, assessing the effect of Bio-Mos (a natural growth promotant) on reducing antibiotic resistance and development of yeast fingerprinting techniques. She is currently responsible for research development for Alltech Life Sciences in Europe.
